Abstract

The objective of the research was to determine the antagonistic activity of Trichoderma spp. isolated from patchouli rizhosphere (Pogostemon cablin Benth.) and antagonistic screening of this fungi to inhibit the growth of the wilted pathogen Fusarium spp. The research was conducted in vitro in the Laboratory of Plant Pathology, Syiah Kuala University from January to June 2020. The research used the completely randomized design with five treatments and three replications. The antagonistic screening was carried out by using the dual culture method of Trichoderma spp. against Fusarium spp. in medium of PDA. The result showed that five isolates of Trichoderma have the different antagonist percentage in inhibiting the Fusarium. The highest antagonistic activity were of T1 and T2, and the lowest were of T3 and T5.
