Abstract
Elevating the competence of human Resources, technology innovation and mutual collaboration have become the key in preparing reliable technopreneurs. This study aims to develop a learning model for entrepreneurship by penetrating science, technology, innovation and networks from universities more comprehensively to increase the productivity and quality of MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in Aceh Province. The research is manifested in the form of an innovation intervention program and capacity building using a participatory action research (PAR) approach and a penta-helix collaboration. PAR is carried out hence the process of formulating learning models and developing the entrepreneurial spirit can be realized more clearly because PAR is a process that combines research, education and action with the dual purpose of producing knowledge and actions that are directly beneficial and also empowering the community through the process of the importance of building and using their own knowledge. The intervention program involvingĀ 31 multi-disciplined students who had been incubated by Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) Business Unit through the Atsiri Research Center (ARC-PUIPT Nilam), USK and the Inovac Cooperative. Training and assistance is provided by competent professionals from universities, government and industry. The results of this study provide important input regarding the strategy of developing technopreneurship in universities. The intervention program carried out helped participants improve the innovation, quality and productivity of their businesses through the 4 main materials provided, namely: Training on Innovation in Essential Derivative Production Technology, Business Management, Branding and Marketing, Marketplace and Digital Marketing.
