We are proud to invite both local and international academia, researchers, policymakers, professionals and other stakeholders to join us at the 3rd International Conference on Agriculture and Bio-industry (ICAGRI-2021) which will be held virtually from October 13-14, 2021 in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This conference is hosted by Agriculture Faculty, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK). The goal of ICAGRI 2021 is not only to elaborate between academicians and practitioners around the world in the agriculture and bioindustry fields, but also to exhibit the history and culture of Aceh. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Banda Aceh!!

Message From the Dean

On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University, I would like to welcome all participants of The 2nd Syiah Kuala International Conference on Medical and Health Science (SKIC – MHS) 2018. This event is conducted to celebrate the 8th Lustrum (36th Anniversary) of Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University.

Established in 1982, Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University (SKU) is the eldest Medical School in Aceh province, Indonesia. Throughout the years, this school has cultivated many talented and qualified health professionals (doctors, nurses, dentists, and psycologists) who are now working in all over Indonesia as well as in some other parts of the world. The establishement of this faculty was none other than to improve the health status of Indonesian people generally, and Acehnesse ones in particular.

At the age of 36, we are committed to continue improving the quality of our graduates as well as to prepare them to be able to compete both at local and international stages.

This year, in the celebration of its 36th anniversary, Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University holds a series of events, one of which is The 2nd Syiah Kuala International Conference on Medical and Health Science (SKIC-MHS) 2018, on March 29-31, 2018. This scientific meeting is held to empower the quality of education and improve interprofesional practice in health discipline, to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, I would like to express my gratitude to the keynote and invited speakers, for making their time for this conference. I would  also like to take this opportunity to thank the Organizing Committee for their hard work and endless support in making this event possible. Finally, to all participants, I wish you wonderful and enjoyable experience during your stay in Banda Aceh.
