Traffic accidents are an unpredictable and unintentional road event involving a vehicle or with no other road userresulting in human casualties and property losses. During the years 2013 to 2017 there have been traffic accidents (Lakalantas) asmany as 1726 cases in Pekanbaru and continue to grow every year. Where traffic accident data is only used as a recapitulationmaterial and publication for the party of Polresta or for related parties. Based on the problems that occur then used a dataminingtechnique that can find the pattern of traffic accidents. The Association is a procedure to search for the relationship of each item ina dataset used and the algorithm used is FP-Growth which is one of the algorithms in determining the dataset that most commonlyappears in a set of data . Results of the use of FP-Growth algorithms with a minimum of 1% support and confidence 10% resulted in5557 patterns of the entire data accident and 168 patterns that reached the research goal of pattern 5 itemset
