Abstract


The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of work stress, work load and work environment on job statisfaction and its impact on the employee performance of DPMPTSP Aceh. The sample of the study are 138 civil servant of the institution. Data collected by questionnaire, and structural equation model (SEM) is operationalized to analyze the data. The study found that work stress has a negative and significant effect on job statisfaction and employee performance. On the contrary, both work load and work environment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and the employee performance. Furthermore, the job satisfaction has a positive and significant impacts on the employee  performance. The existence of the job satisfaction mediates the effect of work load and work environment on the employee performance. Conversely, the variable doesn’t mediate the effect of work stress on the employee performance.
